Bristol have Brian Tinnion as the under 23 coach and been there a long time. Johnson senior will know him well. Johnson junior has had a bad run and the chairman wants playoffs so no surprise

It won't make a scrap of difference. Brian Tinnion is in charge of the youngsters and would have more say in where loanees went than the first team manager. Anyway there have been loanees from Bristol city before Gary Johnson joined Torquay so the fact that Lee Johnson is no longer at City is completely immaterial.

Wouldn't say completely immaterial - of course it will make a difference !
Tinnion and Johnson would talk but Johnson would have the final say particularly if Torquay were involved ! Not saying we wouldn't get any loanees from them but it won't be the number we were getting in the last two seasons.

Let's not forget that Gary was a highly succesful manager long before Lee ever went into managment, so I am sure he can cope if we are no longer first on the list for Bristol City youngsters.

We have to remember Torquay had players on loan from Bristol City well be before Gary Johnson arrived at the club, Dowling I believe ( could be wrong) arrived during Nicho's reign, later inherited by Gary Owers, Both Opi Edwards and Jake Andrews arrived at the club while Owers was still manager.

A change of a manger at Bristol City does not mean anything changes with the strong relationship our club has with Bristol City U23'S , any incoming manager will take advice from the clubs existing staff, as they would before making any decision regarding the clubs young players, if an arrangement to send the clubs young players to TUFC benefit Bristol City it will continue, if it doesn't it won't, it's that simple.
