Dagenham and Redbridge (a) 04/01/20

Post by grockle »

I have just seen admission prices for Saturday's match. £21. Astronomical. I am afraid I will not be going this time, as with travel food etc. it would set me back about £70, which I can ill afford at this time of year, therefore my next match will be Sutton in March. :scarf:

Who knows what sort of a team we will be able to put out, but we should be able to get something out of this game. Dagenham are on an even worse run than us.

We’re forced into a back 3, unless he plays Andrews as a LB.

We really can't afford to lose this one if we're to avoid getting dragged into the relegation battle.
Just four stops down the District Line for me.

I went and watched Eastbourne v Dorking on New Years Day, an NLS fixture, and it was only £13 admission, and no extra for a transfer to the stand. I reckon there should be a standard price across ALL the clubs in the same division. :keepie:

I shall be attending the Whitby Town vs Gainsborough Trinity game this afternoon. I am an old codger so I get a reduced entry fee (£6), otherwise the full-price is a tenner.

Not sure how true this is, Saikou Janneh was seen on the team coach yesterday traveling to London.

Anyone on the train, note that there is no District Line between central London & East Ham. They are running East Ham to Upminster.
From London may be best to get C2C from Fenchurch Street to Barking & change there.

Tommy 17 it would not surprise me.
Bristol City I suspect realise that after his long term injury, and failure as yet to get back his goal scoring form, it could be in all

parties interests for Saikou to remain at Plainmoor for the rest of the season. I hope I am right.
One thing is sure after his stupidity in getting a straight Red Card Saikou will be desperate to make amends.

Let’s hope if he is there today he learns by his mistakes, he is only young and that’s the only way he will learn his trade.
I for one will forgive him if he bangs a couple of goal in today.
Fingers crossed 🤞

In all fairness to Janneh if he goes to Swindon he isn't going to get in their team. It woud be a major boost though if he does stay - lets face it who would you prefer up front Janneh or Lewington?

Believe it ifhe's on the team sheet though.
