Is this a league too far for GJ at this stage of his career?
I am beginning to wonder

Agreed I don't think Duku was ever given a chance - good luck to him.

Probably sign for another NL club, and come back to haunt us! :~D

Feel sorry for Duku ,but we are not the first team he has let down in his performances, I know there was a row last week between him and Downes but thought that was about a personal matter. I know Johnson is very old school so probably expects everyone to jump when he shouts. But for a manager who chased this player for most of a season and talked about his outstanding abilities and then leave him on the bench more often than not reflects poorly on Johnsons decision making. Having said that Johnson with his experience is capable of winning this league season after season but most definitely not with this squad. I would imagine that Duku was one of the highest earners in the squad so that may make some leeway for January in bringing in an experienced and I mean experienced central defender.

Let's be honest Duku didn't do it for us. Doesn't make him a bad player or a villain but for us he showed his limitations and not his quality. It happens- there is no need for a post-mortum.

Good to know. Players are coming back and we have a break from League fixtures. I’d take 7th place at the end of the season. That is not beyond the realms of possibility or probability despite our shocking run of form. Surely we all would take 7th place?

If Duku has gone, then so be it. It hasn’t worked out. That much is obvious.

His finishing was diabolical. We lost at Chesterfield after he missed a open goal early on . Twice at home he hasn't hit the target either. The opposition always score against us each game...even a crocked John stead scored against us again. 3 goals for him in two games and his legs are gone

Re Duku it probably reflects more on his attitude and work rate rather than Johnson's poor decision making ! He's the same as Kalala, another player he must be losing patience with, you can't play with 10 men . Not a lot from GJ tonight except on Harrogate's timewasting , but as he has said himself in the past, there is one way to stop that - bloody well score first yourself

In the position we find ourselves we've got to have 11 fit players on the pitch who are up for a scrap.
