Harrogate v Torquay United 7/12/19

Post by Hammdog2601 »

Now I’ve got over the Saturdays results.

I’ve got my line up I’d start be Harrogate. I’m not the manager though, I think he’ll go with a back 3. (I don’t think that suits ups.

Here’s mine
Macdonald
Wynter Niate Lewis Medford Smith
Hall(Cdm)
Whitfield Evans McNulty Andrews
Reid

This formation is perfect for us and was what we were using at the start of the season. Little and Evans playing Cam.

For me Andrews has to start, he’s been probably our most consistent player this season. Whenever he’s out, it’s proven we’ve badly missed him.

Buse has been class and stood up when we needed him too, sadly I’d drop him, so we can go back to the formation we all know very well.

I think recent performances to Janneh, Cundy, Cameron not good enough.

I don’t see Janneh and Cundy being dropped, if they don’t then I seriously believe there is a clause in their loan deal.

Have we anyone back from injury yet that could be a game changer?

Having CLE & Hall back will be massive for us. Tough fixture so I'll go for a 1-1 draw.

My starting XI as follows:

Covolan
Wynter Cundy Cameron RMS
Hall
Whitfield Buse CLE Andrews
Reid

Subs:
Macdonald
Lewis
Niate
Janneh
Bansal-McNulty

Would go for...

Covolan
Wynter - Lewis - Cameron - Medford-Smith
Whitfield - Buse - Hall - Andrews
Lemmonheigh-Evans
Reid

I think Cundy and Janneh definitely need to make way for someone else to have a chance. Lewis deserves a few games in his natural position to really prove himself and with CLE back he has to be in the team. I would have Hall and Buse in the middle of the park to help the defence and shore things up a bit. Whitfield, Andrews and CLE should be able to provide more than enough options for Reidy.

Word of note, this is another plastic pitch!

The only 2 game changer injuries which are still out are a Davis and Little. They’re both still like 3-4 weeks away.

As for Opi. No point getting our hopes up as he’ll be injured again after a couple of games whenever he returns

Andrews is a must so things are a little better tomorrow the suggestion of Lewis at centre half is a thought as he was outstanding at Woking and Cundy could have a break. Hall and Buse together was not creative enough. Andrews was M.O.M.at Eastleigh playing central. Garry will have a headache picking the side tomorrow.

Cundy and Janneh will both start, I can only assume it’s in their loan contract. Both have to play every game.

Stockport McNulty was our best player, so I think he’ll start.
Gary said in his press week video that Conor can play 90 minutes.

So id probably drop buse and have 2 CAM. Although cannot see that happening as we’re forced to play 2 upfront with Reid and Janneh.

With Andrews, Hall and CLE all expected to start tomorrow, what about having Hall at centre Half?

Very much agree with the lineups with an extra midfielder

We been dominated recently and has led to a lot of the goals we've let in!

I would take a draw right now. Not expecting much from this game other than a spirited performance from the lads. Is there any chance this game could be called off? I think we could do with another week of rehab.

Gary’s all about lifting team spirits. So he’ll want to start Cundy to cheer him up. Personally believe it’s the wrong decision all round.
