Get in there! Four points clear with a game in hand. Huge game on Tuesday to give us some breathing room before the Woking game. Vital. COYY!

Great result and can’t wait for Chelmsford’s visit. Bringing our Spanish students along to witness a feast of football and hopefully a decent win again. I am sure after Tuesday they will burn their Athletico Madrid season tickets and become our Spanish gulls contingent.

Great result but poor defending could have cost us the game

Do you think so. I thought Wealdstone were on top of their game today and put us on the back foot many times during the match. Full credit to them for making it a hard fought battle. It makes our win and three vital points taste all the more sweeter.

And we were facing a four on two breakaway in the first half as we overcommitted. However, we were the better side and some of our one touch play is a joy to watch. I'm going to have a shower now as I've come home all sweaty, it was that sort of finish.

Wealdstone were a Jekyll and Hyde bunch, some good touches and pressure kept us on the back foot but the card count of, I think, five yellows for them should have included two reds, one for Reid being hauled down by the last man and a studs up lunge late on by another player.

Doesn't the table look good this evening but let's not get carried away. We were in a similar position in the old division three under Frank O'Farrell and managed to let it all slip away over Easter. But I'm a curmudgeonly old codger.

I still think that we will do it in style.

Just need to defend corners better.
