Sorry for any misunderstanding, my post was in no aimed at you. Just my general opinions and ramblings , from the match, and a numbers of posts around the forums and social media.

Absolutely, I certainly haven’t seen us top in 25 years.

If you wouldn’t of know listening to the fans in Bristows bench you would of thought we were battling relegation.
I thought there was a fire drill on 85 mins with everyone streaming out.

We have to get behind the team. You and always learningZ we are still in a good position and should win the title.

The referring profession if you can describe it as such is a protected species, a very secret society. They do not tolerate or permit criticism of individual performances, hence the amount of money they take off football managers every season. I have tried to complain on a general level without being specific to any individual, and been told in no uncertain terms that the views of a member of the public can never hold any weight as I am not versed or tested in the laws of the game. Their decisions about advancement or demotion of particular refs are taken behind closed doors and in secret. No figures are published at seasons end of the particular stats of refs as recorded after every match. They continue to operate as a separate entity to the game of football who pay all their costs.
If I, negligently ,choose a course of conduct that ultimately results in you losing your house, possibly your job and your good name then you quite rightly have a recourse in law to put that right with suitable compensation for that negligence. Clubs have been demoted on the adverse and negligent decisions of refs but to my knowledge and I am willing to be proved wrong, no one indivdual or a club has ever sued a ref or the FA for incomptenace.

Steady.... you’re thinking to far ahead sunshine. Despite your worries in another league already, You should know this as you are obviously unaware but GJ is an experienced and successful league Manager! You should be more concerned about whether he wants to stay here after he gets us promoted! With fans like you moaning at him whilst has got us top of the league is only going to give him a reason to leave for somewhere where he is more appreciated! Just a suggestion for you but please shut the f up.

Our young players need to remember their practice/warm-up drills/skills - controlled passing, triangles, shoot low/actually hit the target, but all went completely out the window in the first half. And we are left to wonder why/how our more experienced personnel could let this happen for so long.
We must also wonder why we concede so easily when we have a specialist defence coach; it seems like any team can score twice against us on our own pitch! But at least we have normally scored enough goals to win; also inexplicable how the WSM keeper had so few saves to make when under siege in the second half. More composure needed.
COYY, learn from this abject team performance, stick to playing controlled football and make sure of promotion.

Yesterday's stats show:
Torquay Weston
Shots on Target 5 3
Shots off Target 17 3
Corners 7 2

As Johnson said after the match we need to do better with our corner routines; set plays can be match winners and our threat from corners has been pretty poor.

Just watched the Highlights. How did we not win that game.
We created so many shooting opportunities and Asa and Connor alone had 3 gilt edge chances but blasted it instead of making sure. I know it is easy to criticise but we should never have lost this one.
Jenneh was inches wide and Jamie hit the bar. WSM led a charmed life.

The 2 goals we conceded need a big inquest. Both Kyle and Liam ball watched instead of getting on the line to block the shot. Harsh maybe but when you watch it back it was a very bad goal to concede so early in the game.
The second goal well Kalvin if you had run back at top speed rather than jogging back I think you would have got a block in. Again Liam saw the danger but was not in position on the line.
I do not usually comment like this but we must stop giving away such bad goals.

I fully support the team and they know they should have won this match.

Spot on, Rob. Fans with more than goldfish memories will remember a couple of seasons ago in the National League when we played Lincoln away towards the end of the season. Lincoln were top, we were struggling near the bottom. We didn't stand a cat in hell's chance. We won 2 - 1. These things happen. Despite this setback, Lincoln were promoted. And so will we be.

To the prat who doesn't think Gary Johnson can keep us up if we do get promoted, GJ has won promotion from the National League with other clubs and there is no reason he can't do the same with us. But let's get to the National League first.

Sorry Tomogull not quite right. Ruari Keating put us one up but Lincoln scored in the 86 and 88 minutes. But I totally agree with your point that shocks happen

To Torquay4eva if you really exist and I notice your date of joining as five days ago so you are probably a wind up but to suggest that Johnson does not have a clue is deluded ( that means you do not know what you are talking about) have you watched any of the matches since he took over, probably not, he has actually got us believing we can be a fairly successful football club which after the last few years is some major achievement, he has brought in a class of player who we have no right to see in this division. what ever happens next season you can bet your life he will have planned for it.

My Woking fan radar is going off the charts for this guy

But my original points stands for the real tufc fans moaning, going off the rails with a couple of lesser performances does not detract from what has happened since GJ took over.

Last time I looked we were still top, want to be there at the end of the season? Support the team!!
