3800 - really not much more to say after that, especially when the away support was less than 100. Fantastic turn out, great result and regardless about what is going on, off the field, I think we should all reflect that on the field at least this is the best Torquay United squad since our promotion challenge under Ling, regardless of the level.

Woking still look strong buts its difficult to see us not running away with the league.

Also the additional 2000 fans today over a usual Saturday, probably pays for a very good player for half a year

Its an unbeliveable attendance.
Well done to everyone who went and obviously took a few mates!
As an aside, we are now 5/6 to win the league on oddschecker. Slightly shorter than the 34/1 I got on just before Owers was fired! =D

Did anyone else notice that Kalala looked a bit down after the final whistle.
Maybe thought he could have done more ?
But he has nothing to be despondent about he clearly has class and is still learning

A goodish performance against a spirited opposition who could easily have scored another at the end to narrow the victory. We were almost unplayable when going forward but always looked vulnerable at the back. Reid and Janneh were superb up front and well supported by Hall and Evans in midfield.

Home crowd excellent but less than 100 away supporters for a Boxing Day derby is pathetic. Will they manage more for the home game?

Referee was excellent too - all in all a very enjoyable game of football in which Truro played a part.

The celebrations in the stands knew no bounds when the referee blew his whistle to signal the end of the game. The 3,800 spectators packed into the ground witnessed a match that really came alive after Torquay equalised after a slow start that saw them a goal down. Thereafter, the game contained all the right ingredients for a local derby.

On the subject of attendance, with the segregated away end accommodating 1,100 that only leaves a little over 1,000 more Torquay supporters allowed into the Torquay supporters three sides of the ground . If we keep winning and maintain top of the league status it wont be long before many will be wishing they had brought a season ticket.

Wonder if Clarke Osborne has thought of building a new stadium

You listen to Johnsons after mat h comments and one or two had some knocks around their faces from various chal, enges where they have tried to upset our running. Also the pitch isn't the greatest near the end of the game. Super entertainment, I'm sure Johnson will be working on the defenders a bit as plenty of chances created by Truro.

In reply to kerswellgull, Kalala got a right mouth full from Johnson mid way through the first half, he got the same on one of our away matches I think it was Weston, it seemed to do the trick this weekend, he certainly woke up and played well.
