That's a great turnout considering we're approaching the festive season and money is tight for a lot of people.

Great result and now it's up to the others to match us.

Great result, with the highest attendance of the season at Plainmoor. Probably means the highest in the entire division.

Another great result and performance, attendance going up we'll be getting 3000 soon hopefully, think Woking r going to be our main challengers but the way we are playing we should be afraid of no one in this league :scarf:

Agreed.
We are also now 2-1 faves with BetVictor for the title.... Glad i had a tenner at 34/1 when Owers was still manager!
He may give us something to smile about his time as manager after all......... :}

Really good win, and on that pitch, great footballing performance. Welling not in the same League really. Excellent atmosphere too.

Wow! What an impact GJ has had! Really pleased for all you Gulls as promotion now looks a good bet. I don't know whether it's because GJ has worked miracles or that Owers was just ridiculously shite that the vast transformation in fortunes has arisen.

One thing it proves though is that for once, since Ling, the club have a manager who knows what he is trying to do and knows what he is doing. Makes a lot of difference and perhaps is one of the few aspects of running the football club that Osborne can be congratulated on.

COYY!

Anyone out there know if this is the clubs best ever run of 'league' wins and/or unbeaten run? Five on the bounce and eleven without loss, I can't ever remember a run like this even when Gibbs, Gurney Watson and Gittens got the best part of 30 goals between them in 1998 from defence!

To think, at the end of the season, you may be the one and only Torquay supporter to think Owers was the best thing that ever happened to Torquay United, Hope he is on you Christmas card list.

I don't think we went this long unbeaten in 98 but fairly sure we won 8 on the bounce, which equaled the club record if I remember rightly.

That was a great season
