Hungerford Town v Torquay United 15/9/18

Post by lucy6lucy »

Pleased Gary has gone, it was an untenable position after losing to Chippenham, so no disrespect to him it just didn't work out. I wish him well for the future. We move on, I presume Taylor as he is assistant manager will take charge on Saturday unless our Clarke has had a rocket put up his arse and gets someone in before then. The pressure is now on the players to show us what has gone wrong with Owers tactics/formation/motivation etc etc. Gowling I presume will return after his loan with Alfreton. It's very fortunate for the players that we play a Hungerford on Saturday. Surely this has to be 3 points. The players have to man up as there is no more excuses now Gary has gone. 4-0 Torquayunited

Players probably relieved they are not at Plainmoor. It would have been great if the new man could have begun away from home with less pressure on the team.

Here's hoping for an away goal or two at Hungerford. Will be a tough game no doubt. If (a big if) there is a new manager by then, I expect a good turn out at Hungerford. I have been there, years ago, but a first for TQ I believe. COYG

As a Hungerford and Torquay fan I'm really looking forward to this game, I would never have thought this game would ever happen!
It should be a decent sized crowd and hopefully a decent game with some goals!

Their last home gate and our last home gate don’t add up to 2000!!!

I’d take a 3-0 away win with 500 travelling yellow army in attendance.
