Boa Morte signs for Chesterfield

Post by stevegull »

Former Portugese international Luis Boa Morte signs for the Spireites in a deal that lasts until January.

On the face of it it seems a good deal for all concerned. I assume he isn't on much money as he himself states he just wants to be playing games somewhere and if he's anywhere near as good as he can be then Chesterfield have got a gem of a player.

Or is it overpriced tosh?

Discuss.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

Depends on fitness. If they can get him fit he should tear L2 up, if not, he won't.

Pretty harmless for them though, short term deal.

Oh yeah. I bet. I would bet he is good money even if he is playing to keep fit. On the other hand, Wonder what they are going to do when they find they are losing money hand over fist. hand out buckets anyone?
if he clicks he will help. if he doesn't we will bladder them all over the field. he will then blame them for being useless.

... And Edgar Davids signs for Barnet. Obviously he won't be playing much but even if he does you'd expect him to be above this level.

Just a bit ;-)
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Eckythump. come on lads. let's get in with the latest fashion then. Sing up Marradona. he may not be able to kick a ball much now (he probably couldn't even see it as it disapears under his gut) But he can use his hands. Most of our refs wouldn't even see it. Well the one at Wycombe wouldn't
