Twit wants to sue the Met Office

Post by Glostergull »

What a wally. The guy who runs the big sheep company which I assume is the one near Bideford wants to sue the Met office if they give weather reports that are overly pessimistic. he claims that they tell everyone a doom and gloom picture of the weather and then it seems better than they say. Pillock. Has he not noticed that it has done nothing but pee down day after day after day. If they didn't give a report then what the heck would sailors and farmers do. What would he do if they gave out one for farmers and sailors and one for him. he would look a right daft idiot. especialy if customers had seen both forecasts. maybe he wants to live in cockoo land.

I saw this on the news today.

Agreed. He seems like a complete mug. The Met Office quite rightly issued a statement saying that they will continue to provide the most realistic forecasts they can, clear of bias.

Also, I can't believe Spotlight even picked up the story. This guy just seems to get a free advert for his business - "You can enjoy my sheep in any weather!". No one cares pal.

No sheep were harmed or gently coerced into doing anything they didn't feel comfortable with in the making of this thread......

Baaaaaaaaa!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Damn this thread. I wish I hadn't started it. The Ram has siezed up. it cost me a Mint sauce to install. and I got the feeling I have been fleeced. That's just Baaaad. Ewe would feel the same too I bet. I really Mutton try it again.
I should have stayed fast asheep. in fact I should be counting sheep now.my hearing seems so wooly. should have stuck to Cricket. at least Graham Lamb would have offered his support.

You probably meant Allan Lamb, but otherwise - nicely done. You're probably feeling sheepish.

I could have done, but I also could have been talking about General Graham Lamb who was a Bobsleigh champion and served in Iraq. Not neccassarily at the same time.

o:)

But On reflection your right I should have said Allan Lamb. :na:
