on the OS of the bauys on their endurance test with the Marines today !
I particularly like the one of a very clean and dry Martin Ling looking down as the bedraggled figure of Rene Howe emerges from a tunnel! Brilliant!

A whole season's worth of Caption Competitions in that selection.
Nice to see so many smiles on faces though and an interesting way to go about pre-season preparation.

Agreed - just a shame we haven't got a new centre back in place to join them.AndyC wrote:A whole season's worth of Caption Competitions in that selection.

All good character buidling stuff, sure this will further build the squad spirit and help integrate the new boys - Good thinking again by Lingy
No prizes for guessing that the winner of the piggy back race was carrying Danny Boy...

At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!
Couple of faces I don't recognise in the team shot as well - who is going to do an L-R for the front and back rows (apart from the instructors of course) while I am asleep??
Thanks in advance.

God! that takes me back a few years to when I was in a green suit. Really builds great team spirit and determination let alone fitness. Had a Warrant Officer boss who was a Royal Marine and we had a load of that kind of training. Train hard, fight easy he used to say. I was the fitest 36 year old Sergeant in the corps after 3 years with him.
Great photos!

Oblivion!!!!
Nice one Chris, can always rely on you.
For some reason didn't recognise Yeoman (looks a lot older after that course) and Bodin's hairstyle put me off, although should have realised they were the two squad members I hadn't included in my own guesswork effort!!
No real surprise that the CB hasn't turned up yet - who'd fancy having their first four days of training being caked in mud?
Thought for a minute we had a new player down but then realised it was Nathan Craig covered in a few layers of Deb'nshire dirt!

I like the one with Manse. Muddy face and hair...but he is (as usual) smiling. White teeth shining like a beacon. Brilliant. :~D
