Once the grandstand is finished I think we should give the away fans seating only, make them sit (like we have to at most grounds) and stop them getting behind their team. The Yellow Army can then get behind that goal and make a massive noise.

For the bigger games where we know the away support is going to be in excess of 500 then give them the away end as normal.

Couldn't agree more with you,if worse comes to worse and we stay in this league we won't have many big away following, i can think of 5 out of 19 games were away attendance been 500+ so,
it would help the atmosphere so much even if we only had 20-30 in there every week the atmosphere would improve then slowly more would join it would be brilliant.
at most just give away fans half of the bench for low away gates probably even less but think they should trial it for pre season and few league games think it would work

time the club listened to what the fans want. ;-)

Nobody knows yet what the acoustics of the new Grandstand will be.

Giving away fans 25% of seats may be counter productive against 25 of the bouncy castle youth (Yellow Army) in the Babbacombe End.

If the acoustics are THAT good, we may want to keep the Grandstand all to ourselves.

(8) Bristow's Bench Backstep Army ! Bristow's Bench Backstep Army ! . . . (8)

A brand spanking new all seater Grandstand with ALL the Yellow Army stood up in it making one hell of a racket like Argyle away earlier this year.

But your own poll suggests that twice as many fans disagree with your idea?

I know more people that don't come on this page and want away end, should do a vote on the gate or something seeing as only 43 people answered out of 700 season ticket holders in the pop

Never gonna to happen in a million years.....the police for a start, would never allow a split segregated terrace in the current away end. It is a shame that the acoustics in the away end are far better than anywhere else in the ground but, that's the waty the cookie crumbles.

With even the biggest games.....home support is barely 3000 - even if we got promoted and we're successful in L1, its optimistic maybe to hope we may get another 1000 home support on top of that.

The club have to maximise revenue.......so for that reason - It makes financial sense that the away potential allocation will rise sharply.......1050 behind the goal and a min of 450 in bristows bench (maybe a bit more).
....aka jmgull.
