lets keep the white kit!

Post by bixieupnorth »

i thought we looked really good in alkl white yesterday and now think we should wear it for all our remaining away games, except hereford where we should wear all yellow

its a lucky charm, our biggest win of the season, never liked the black one, which judging by the prices on the OS is going this summer anyway!?

Toatally agree with Bixie about the white kit.
Found it funny that the stewards in the bright orange jackets stood behind the home goal, at a glance I thought I was seeing five Bobby's

I actually bought the white kit last season, I actually prefer it to either of the other kits this season. I'd much rather see it as our away kit than the black one.

Well we have a new away kit coming out for next season so maybe we should have a poll and then submit it to the club? The Mighty Whites anyone?

or was that the beer goggles! ;-)

I actually really like the black kit, it was a refreshing change after years of white/blue. Not sure how well it works down on the pitch though in terms of vision etc...

The black kit was a refreshing change like bobby93 says but i also prefer white with bits of light blue also. I would like a home shirt too with horizontal yellow and blue stripes plus i want an XXL!!!!!!!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Doubt very much you will see the white kit worn again, probably only worn yesterday as both our home and away kits clashed with burton's home colours.

Personaly not that worried which kit they wear, won 9 away in the black kit, 1 in the white, split the difference maybe white top/black shorts. :)

Haha Considering I started drinking on the train from Leeds just after 10am and Gazzab & Scottishgull had me on sambuca as soon as we hit Burton it may well have been :P

nah the maccy d's I had before getting to The Beech inn assisted in sobering me up a little.

Did however get a little giddy when Olejnik accidently touched my bum when signing my shirt at the end of the game

It is technically the 3rd season that we have used the white kit. It was introduced with the previous home kit at the start of the 2009/10 season but it's tenure as the away kit was short lived because of the black kit being introduced after one year.

I have grown to quite like the black kit and I always liked the white one too. I would like the new away kit to be all white or similar to the blue one we had about 5/6 years ago.

I am not too keen on the home kit and wouldn't mind seeing hat one changed as well.

There's a very valid reason why teams play in an all dark kit, especially under floodlights, and that is to give them an "advantage".

Apparently, they are "more difficult to spot".

So when the team in the dark kit plays crap, it's because they were "more difficult to spot" (by there own team-mates). :-/
