I think we were going to have a decent number going up tonight but the team we are going to put out has dictated otherwise. I'll be saving that little bit of dosh from tonight to try and make the first three games of the season.

It's a shame that's it's going to be a youth team now. Does anyone know the reason behind this?

I'll post updates for you on here to keep you up to date

Hope you have a good season

Bloody good form Weston, buy yourself a beer from me.

I think the feeling is that slogging the first team all the way to WSM for a friendly against such vastly inferior opposition is considerably less useful than whatever else he has planned for them, surfing in Newquay, it has been reported.

fair play to him, he's got a point !

He does make a fair point. Who knows Spear or Yeoman could get a chance play well and score some goals. Best thing would be to see them training with the first team every day and they could be better off. At least we know he will go into the loan market if need be though.

That OS statement says to me that should Olenjnik become injured he will be prepared to put Rice in there not jump into the loan market as others have suggested he might in that circumstance. I can see his point otherwise whats the point of signing him. However I just hope he reacts quickly should things not pan out as he hopes. Same goes for any other position btw.

I was looking forward to this until the announcment to play the youth team :(

I'll stay in and use the money for an away game at some point.
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

Line-up...
Ibbetson, Kudi, Quinn, Hicks, Lyskon, Mackenzie(c), Patrick, Yeoman, Spear, Halpin, Francis

Subs...
Thompson, Kewell, Latimer, Nardiello, Shillberg, Alexander, Sullivan, Roberts

Few names in the starting line-up I don't recognise - Hicks, Lyskon, Patrick and Francis.

Rest I think were on the youth team list posted on the website last week.

He has something of the Tommy Tynan about him.

The fact he was alongside me doing his bit to clear snow off the pitch before the postponed Rotherham game has not coloured my perception of the player.
