First game of the Season

Post by Richinns »

Who would you like?

Definitely would be good for a home game to welcome the new management and players.

I would like Shrewsbury at home.

I predict we will get Crawley at home (which will bring all their bandwagon goons down again for their first game in League football).

Accrington away. Get it out the way. I'd like us to have them,Morecambe and Bradford away all early on just to get rid of the long trips...

as i'm in america end of aug/start of sept, GUARANTEE we'll be away to Barnet during that time. been at home last two seasons, so i'm guessing we'll be away first game this time round, probably at Rovers or Crawley.

Aren't we more likely to get Plymouth over the Christmas/New Year period?

Dons (H)

but probably Rovers (A)!

I agree with Bloggy, they will make TUFC v Argyle the Boxing Day and New Years Eve matches.

Ideally a nice home tie against someone who is going to lose.

We have the Balloon festival in Bristol on the second week of the season which means City have to be away that week so as per usual we will have an opening fixture AWAY from Home. Probably somewhere like Macclesfield knowing our luck. I understand that you are hoping for the localish home games to be played nearer the end of the season when your new stand is ready so I would say the chances are you wont be home to us.

Oh no, poor you, not a 150 mile away game. :'( That's a bloody local derby for us :~D

Good grief - have your kids ever been to Florida in august? It's like being in hell, except it's hotter and more humid, and Mickey Mouse is there.

Swindon at Home or Cheltenham Away.
