Torquay United AFC would like to thank The Blue Anchor for sponsoring Tuesday night’s game against Taunton Town. Teignmouth’s Real Ale Pub, The Blue Anchor offers a wide range of real ales, many brewed so-called, alongside a vast range of ciders and other popular drinks. Located in Teign Street, Teignmouth, the Pub is positioned just outside of the town centre near the Quay and Teignmouth Train Station. The building itself is Grade II listed in the town’s Teign Street Conservation area and sits opposite the entrance to the docks. The Pub regularly shows some of the biggest fixtures in the sporting calendar, whilst also regularly having a packed schedule for live music. With screens both inside and out, during the warmer months you can enjoy live sport from the comfort of their beer garden! The Blue Anchor also hosts an Annual Easter Beer & Cider festival, with a range of locally brewed beverages available, along with a packed schedule of live music. This year’s event is taking place from Thursday 28th March, across the Bank Holiday weekend, with the festival’s final day being Monday 1st April.
