Jon Gittens was a decent player for us, apart from giving away that pen at Wembley.

Finally some good news, hopefully he'll do well for us.

Have you considered that it might have been Osborne not willing to pay the money???

Or maybe Johnson blew the budget on the crocked faves he has kept faith with. Give that some thought 🤔

I kept a special eye on him saturday, was he another lightweight just brought in to paper over more injury problems, but no I was pleasantly surprised, he talks alot, he is willing to tackle and he has a pass on him that actually made it to who it was intended for, the more full time football he plays the better his pace and fitness will be, mind you I thought that about Harris before christmas and it didnt take long for Johnson to ruin him as well.

I thought he did pretty well in his first match, definitely see his dad in his play, Jon could certainly put in a tackle ! hope he turns out as good.
With Moxey returning imagine he will be the third centre back tomorrow or right back.
You can't have De Silva and Martin as wing backs though, neither can defend to save their lives, ok going forward but Martin never has been great at defending.

Agreed, defensively both Desilva and Martin are so poor, (although tbf, it's not Desilvas position) constantly out of position and leaving the players I assume they should be marking, 10 yards away.

I too kept an eye on Austin, he looked up more often than not when he had the ball, unfortunately there were not many options available to him. I worry being here may see him regress if he has to resort to more hoof ball.

I bumped into him on Sunday, he sounds like he wants to be a big voice in the dressing room and on the pitch. Just what we need.
