Dave ,lets look at it from his point of view, you had an unequivocal yes there will be a new ground,we believe it or believe it not. What we do know and it is probaby universally accepted football at plainmoor will never raise the revenue even to cover the bills let alone get us back into the league. Location of such new stadium, why would he tell us, they may be looking at several venues, everybody finds out the first thing that would happen is the land owner puts their price up ,second the TUST has a few quiet words with their mates on the council to put a spanner in the works because it does fit with their speciifc vision for the club. I didn't mention the players and I have no idea how much they're being paid, neither does anyone else on here. Dawson was a gamble most people were happy with until it became a weapon to beat GJ with.McGavin has shown some potential this season and others you mention would normally be replaced by loan players and become squad fillers but that isn't happening and it has everything to do with financial backing or the lack of it. Despite all the hysteria we're 2 points off the play offs.

Dawson was a gamble most people were happy with until it became a weapon to beat GJ with.

Most fans were happy because they didn't, and couldn't know of Dawson's fitness issues. Johnson surely did know and at least the club should have given him a medical.
Like the case with Hall, if you have a limited budget it is unwise to spend it on players with limited availability.
