I actually appreciate the scorn within the article linked here. It's exactly what the bellends involved deserve. Pathetic behaviour.

Anyway. Hard to know what we can learn from the game on Saturday, although it's nice to see Jarvis start with a couple of goals. Looks like we had 6 "triallists" involved too...it'd be interesting to know who they were, although I doubt we'll ever know.

Haven't spotted Dawson, Moxey or Marshall in any of the photos yet, hopefully no injuries already ! Usually are though in pre season
Is that McGavin wearing a Grealish headband ?
Let's hope he plays like him.

With Bristol City u21s next I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up with a couple of those on loan

Marshall had an issue with his eye and moxey a knee op I think?

I was concerned I hadn't seen Dawson too, I did see him on one picture on the club website from training so he's definitely around, hopefully just precaution ahead of the more meaningful friendlies

This is how we started

think its 6-2 now, but decent first half against a championship side

Their twitter replies seem to suggest a stronger team in the 2nd half

Hardly surprising that we got shellacked with Tomlinson and Thomas at centre half in the second half. We still look well short in key areas to me. Our central defence is terrible for starters and we are clearly minus a striker.

Surely Johnson isnt going to repeat last seasons mistake of making do with two bloody strikers for a half a season - Johnson seems obsessed with Dan Martin who in truth is miles off fitness. As usual we have plenty of full backs and midfielders but it looks as though we need at least one dominating centre half, another decent striking option and a ball playing midfielder in the Kieron Evans mode.

And thats the bare minimum.

Saw the goals last night on YouTube. Well taken goals by us, however goals 1and 2 conceded awful schoolboy defending by the usual culprits 🥱
