Shocking mistake at the back that started with Halstead. Ridiculous challenge that led to the penalty as well. We are our own worse enemy.

Same v Southend - get back into it and throw it away.

Crazy from Halstead, but Collins could've made a tackle, then was it Donnellan that went flying in giving away the pen?

Unbelievable.

What a joke of a side. We deserve to go down. How is Gary still in a job?

Oh dear what a poor display. So embarrassing.
We're so bad and we have to accept this is now relegation to NLS.
I wonder whether we will change manager for next season's NLS campaign?

How come whenever we score it just means the opposition will score within 5 minutes! How many times as this happened?
What a joke. 3 defeats in a row 2 of those home games!
We are good as down.

The fact that we lost this game had nothing to do with Gary Johnson. If you look at the game objectively, we were clearly still in the game and looked the better side in the second half. We got ourselves back in the game and set ourselves up to try and nick the win. But a calamitous piece of defending cost us the game. To dive in like that in the penalty spot at anytime of the game is criminal, but at that moment in the game is unforgivable. Yet GJ receives the brunt of the criticism? If we got the point or even won the game we wouldn't have said a word, but because of a stupid error from one of the poor players GJ has to choose, he is the problem. No money, no budget, players not good enough, and club run by an ineffective and uninterested ownership. Story of our life.

Halstead was the captain after Moxey went off. Presumably it was the manager who did that for a reason ie that hes an experienced player.

His hesitation cost us the corner for the first goal and Ive never seen anything so pathetic as the way he rolled the ball straight out to their player - Donnellan was left with little option. Halstead was to blame for the winner. Absolutely beyond belief.

No chance

Bad error by Halstead yes

but did Donellan have to charge in and make a stupid tackle for a bloke on the edge of the box not going anywhere? No

Stupid from Donellan beyond belief

60 seconds after we scored our captain rolls the ball out to an opposing player in our penalty area - and you are blaming someone else.

Halstead and Donnellan equally to blame. Work so hard to get a goal, then give one away so easily. Stupidity. Worse moment I've seen there for years. GJ not to blame for that one, but what goes through the players heads? They need to grow up and show a bit more nous!

I'm happy to blame GJ

4-4-2 was a bad formation to start - Collins and Evans aren't wingers. Sort of what you need to play 4-4-2.

Da Silva on the bench - not a bad thing as he's over rated in my opinion - but he would have been better starting as a winger in a 4-4-2 formation

Midfield again was dire and with the above it was clear 4-3-3 would have been better

When it went 1-1 they made a defensive sub taking off a forward and brought on a defender, we didn't react at all to this

And when it went 1-2 we could have played all night and wouldn't score again, no fight, no desire - a defeated team

It's time for GJ to go
