I think so as Notts County were on a good run of form before lockdown. Surely a club with their history and probably financial clout will be a threat next season but then there have been a few ‘big’ clubs that have languished in the National league for a few seasons, Luton were one and look at them now?!

They should be up there but both them and yeovil will lose TV money from football league. A few hundred thousand each. Bound to be smaller squads , budget wise for sure.

So were Harrogate to be fair - they were only three points behind Barrow and had a game in hand, plus they had to play them.

Excellent for us locals too down here with no trips to Barrow and Harrogate. Nice to go to Alty again though and Weymourh too.

Also the fact that they would have kept their plastic pitch in the National League and we don’t tend to do so well on those surfaces.

No excuse for poor play on plastic. All of the players today will have had experience of playing on artificial surfaces. QPR had one, nearly 40 years ago, so it is nothing new. :scarf:

You’re in grim Barnsley. It’s right grim up there.
