Westyorkshiregull RIP

Post by tufcjon »

If you have searched youtube for old TUFC video, you will have seen loads posted by Westyorkshiregull - Andrew Holland. I was shocked to find out that he has passed away at the age of 40.

It would be good if fans could celebrate his life and his love for TUFC on the day of his funeral on May 5 by watching one of his videos.

What a terrible shock and really sad news. I've spoken with Westyorkshire gull on here many times and also met him at Chester away a couple of years ago. A really nice bloke. I know he spent a lot of time uploading old footage from video tapes to YouTube for us to enjoy and there are some great clips on his channel.

RIP Andrew

Shocking news, never met him but he and I had some forthright debates on here and by PM. Quiet often watch the 1988 play of second leg final against Swansea he’s posted on YouTube.

Shocked and saddened with this terrible news.
Had the pleasure of meeting at away games with Andy.
Our most recent one was Halifax away.
A lovely fella and typical TUFC fan.
RIP Andy, you will be missed.

Just wanted to come on and express my sadness at the passing of Westyorkshiregull. I never did meet him but exchanged many a view with him on here and his passion for the club was obvious to all. From what I remember rightly he was a lorry driver? RIP Westie.
