Howdidigethere wrote: 08 Jan 2020, 22:25 Thank you forevertufc. courteous and sensible responses last The best season I had following the mighty gulls was without doubt whilst Leroy was in charge in our promotion year. Naivety was rife but the entertainment and results will be hard to beat. If we hadn’t managed to snatch relegation away from 3 other teams on the last day of the following season I genuinely believe he would have continued improving us. This is what I want to see again at Plainmoor and unfortunately I don’t think GJ is the person to achieve this. How about Liam Rosenior? Currently coaching at Derby I think.
Great.
Another one with no management experience...... ala Nicho and Hargreaves.
Leroy left by mutual consent due to the club selling players and that was when we had the funding to look at new players - now we dont.
And you still want to get rid of GJ.
Unbelievable.

And so it goes on. And you lemmings still defend him?
5 at the back? It doesn't bloody work.
Substitutes are there to change the game......if given time.
Players don't look fit.
I could go on

Wow we loose unluckily and the goons are back on parade. Surprise, surprise. The infancy of their remarks says it all.

Don’t worry wbw. A couple of new defenders in today so no doubt one of them will be able to play alongside Reid next week! Johnson also needs to man up and tell Koszela to go and train as a plumber because he obviously doesn’t think he’s good enough to play football at conference level.

We were the better side by far, Typical Torquay though. The better side! They had 2 shots and they score.
Reid was wank, he gets away with everything because it’s Reid
How many times are we going to play Whitfield upfront before Gary realises it wont ever work? Keating is the guy we need upfront till Lewington is fit.

Back 5 doesn’t work and never will... we bring in an experience Centre back to remove a CB.... not go with a back 3.. why an earth we’re we sitting defensive???

Blaming the wind in his interview 😂😂😂 **** sake Gary

Don't talk wet.
With regard to Koszela.
1. Hes a fairly new pro via the Youth system.
2. He will be learning a lot from those around him.
3. GJ must think he's "good enough" - otherwise he wouldn't have a contract.

That was my assumption too. So when we’re in need of a goal why not throw him on for 20 minutes? He’ll learn a lot more playing football than he will keeping the seats warm whilst talking to disillusioned out of favour teammates.

5 at the back - slow to change formation and set up
Poor timing of substitutions
Merry go round of average loan signings
Dickson out on loan who would have done a decent job
Hall's lack of pace (only capable of sitting in front of back 4 with Evan's and Andrew's sat alongside)
Concerns about GJ but still wish to see him turn it around but a real shame that the season has fallen apart due to a couple of injuries and an inability to get the team back into shape

And your opinion became totally devalued with 'a couple of injuries'.........

ok lets add poor management of squad and injuries to the list. Two injuries have caused problems, Wynter and Davis. Mainly because GJ has failed to solve the problem. Players played out of position into those positions, Jean Yves Koute being thrown in, the rotation of keepers has put panic into the defence for weeks. That's not caused by the injuries but the actions afterwards. We've had a merry go round of average loan signings.
If it helps you though....yes if it wasnt for the injuries and the decisions by the referee we'd be top of the league.
