For me, the “old farmers’ forecast” easily surpasses the stringent BBC/Met Office targets. Not many of the Dartmoor cows are laying down, so heavy rain does not appear imminent.

Sounds like we played well in the first half considering the conditions, no real threat from Wrexham. Sounding superb in this second half.

Game of two halves.
Wrexham better first half us second.
Great save by Macdonald and good goal very soon after.
Wrexham looked better than their league position.
Good turn out of 132 fans from Wrexham but why come all this way and not actually offer any support?

Great win. Wrexham looked neat and tidy early on. Seemed to lack any real flair or individual spark though? Strange game as they had their chances and could have scored shortly before we did. But we also hit the bar and their keeper tipped one header onto the woodwork so definitely a game of two halves.

Exciting thing is that we still have Dickson, Hall, Little and CLE to come back into this team at different points over the next couple of months. What great performances we are getting out of Vincent and Buse in the middle of the park. Love Buse just breaking up play. It all helps break up the flow for the opponent.

Thought Macdonald had a solid game too. I like how he communicates with the defenders telling them when to head it etc.

Cant see Keating getting back into the side any time soon.

Weather conditions truly awful, fairly safe to say we weren't going to see a great football match, with a very strong head wind blowing down towards the family stand.

First half with the wind Wrexham looked the better side, had a few half chances with out testing MacDonald, as expected the boot was firmly on the other foot after the break, Torquay now with the weather conditions looking the stronger side, the Davis goal a relief, after seeing our team hit the crossbar, and the excellent Wrexham Keeper turn what I believe was a Janneh header on to the post, I did start to wonder, whether there would be a sting in the tail, however, and for once we saw our team see the game out through a nervy last 10 minutes or so.

I've been a harsh critic of MacDonald, it's been honest and genuine criticism, but it has to be said, and credit where it's due, MacDonald after a shaky start, was outstanding tonight, with one great save.

Not sure what the sponsors had in their drinks, Cameron motm, really ? not saying he had a bad game no where near motm though. Buse outstanding probably had shout for motm.

But my player of the match tonight was Wynter, time and time again tonight saw the danger got across and stopped it, got forward, put some good crosses into the box, and don't think he misplaced a single pass.

Great result but I expect a few Wrexham supporters will go away thinking they should have won. Jake Andrews created the winning goal and produced a few brilliant moments in the game. The conditions were bad in the first half and improved slightly in the second and when Jennah came on it seemed to lift everyone and things became easier. Liam Davis got the goal and he has been very consistent this season. McDonald was selected in goal and did ok but his distribution needs to improve in difficult conditions.
