Seems like there is a bloody hurricane blowing - and we have the wind behind us in the first half. In the circumstances going 1-0 down looks a disaster.

Sounds like conditions are farcical though.

The teams ability or inability to come back from an early goal against them today will say a lot about the mentality of our current players.

Doubts about the defence were raised throughout pre-season, at the lower level our attacking prowess drastically outweighed the gaps at the back and we should be able to win games on the same basis this season but we won’t have the same margin for error either at the back or in front of goal

Yep spot on. I think GJ will have his work cut out to keep the cracks in our game getting bigger . I do think that with a decent experienced centre half we would at least have a decent platform to build from and a more organised bank of 4.
We have been suspect at the back even after he took over last year.

I think I’d prefer to see Hall drop to the back alongside Cameron rather than sacrifice attacking presence - who to start in the midfield is still a dilemma though, it will come down to who is able to step up and deliver at this level

Still too early to panic. Players falling over on this ice rink of a football pitch. Force 9 gale blowing and basically impossible to play football in these conditions.

If anything sounds as though we are the better side. Really unfortunate to concede an early goal. Just the way things are going at the moment.
