Well Owers can say that Its The Team That he Built, so we can now judge him on how well we do this coming season.

This is the type of signing I've long wanted to see the club make.

2 young professionals, who have been coached at the higher level of English football & HAVE to gain experience of first team football or face stagnating.

We have the advantage of being a 'professional' club in this division - which should be able to attract similar signings. These two should be delighted to take advantage of the pathway to first team football at TUFC, at a low quality level, whilst others in the same boat have to resort to part-time football or continue in the B team with bigger clubs. Sink or swim time.

For the optimism of possible development, neither unfortunately has the nous or experience of regular mens football that would jusity expectations to hit the ground running.

Exciting, but patience needed I'd suggest! Neither player is past their best and SHOULD improve. :) :) :)

Don't go ''Gary Lineker'' on us.

What are your thoughts Nathan?

The last time (and quite possibly the only time) we signed a player that had previously scored four goals against us in a match was Andy McFarlane in an 8-1 win for Scunthorpe.

Well a young (18 on the actual day) Samir Nabi also scored four against us once- albeit in an FA Youth Cup match - for WBA youth in another 8-1 win - against Dan Lavercombe. Fortunately for our youngsters on the day, he (Nabi) was subbed off after 75 minutes- otherwise goodness knows how many he might have ended up with !!!

Excited by the potential of this signing... and Wynter come to that.

Gives an idea to the style of Samir Nabi. Sounds like a technical player. He'll need to adjust to the inevitable physical part of non-league football to be a success.

"Samir has just taken it to another level this year for the U21s and the U18s with the goals he's been scoring and the way he has been performing. He's been fantastic.

"He's very technical in terms of where he plays in midfield, running with the ball and going forward. He scores a lot of goals for a player playing in that position.

"Samir is an excellent technical player and we now need to school him in what he needs to do when we are out of possession," said boss Keith Curle.
