Cause for (Minor) Celebration

Post by SkyBlueGull »

I know that mathematically it is not the case but I would suggest with 3 more points this week we can banish all thoughts of relegation back to the dreaded Blue Square League.

With 9 games to go in the regular season that is no mean achievement and at least we wont be biting our finger nails to the bone - unlike supporters of some 10 Premier league team's fans.

For that I say a big Thank You to Paul Buckle, the players and the directors.

( Interesting to know what this boards pre-season survey predictions were Louis???)

As if you need an excuse to "celebrate" Troj.

If we had any chance of relegation you would be drowning your sorrows!! :~D

The above I admit is true. However, what comes with the territory of being a professional social drinker is this :

RESPONSIBILITY . . .

Being a responsible driver of a motor vehicle, I'm seen out a lot walking (from pub to pub usually). This probably comes as no surprise.

Piss artists (don't confuse with professional social drinkers) of my acquaintance, don't think I even own a vehicle let alone can drive one.

As it happens, I've never drove a car pissed, I don't need to, I'm lethal behind the wheel sober. :O

It's probably not mathematically possible to be relegated now - 16 teams below us would have to overtake us, not just Barnet, and given there are still many many matches still to be played between these 16 teams, not all will be able to get 3 points from every match etc.

Bit of a task to work it out though.
