any other club in our position and the manager would be gone, he cant motivate the players, his tactics have been poor, he brings players in and then doesnt use them. im sorry if people dont agree but its a sad state. the sooner we get a change the better.

I couldn't disagree with you more. The kind of players he goes for when he has the finances to back up his judgement, he's done pretty well in my book. When he has to scratch around offering peanuts for players it isn't surprising we end up with a few duds.

As for not playing players he signs, there have been very good reasons for not using most of them. Poor attitude, poor fitness, injuries etc etc. No, he's far from perfect but he's far from what you describe as well. He's a decent manager and has shown commitment far above anyone else in recent memory. He will lead us onto better things if he's given a fair chance and a fair budget to go with it.

FGR fans seem very bemused that they've let Racine go (according to the posts on the club's facebook page, anyway).

I am not surprised. He was very useful for them last season and played virtually every game in their near miss promotion campaign.
A decent signing for us.

Now what we need is...a Centre Forward please!!

Perhaps Racine is a meat eating sort of defender? 🙃
Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. :goal:

Well he's left Eastleigh today and they expect him to sign for another club today. Wonder who?
Left Barnet for a fee, under Martin Allen to join Eastleigh only to find Allen follow him to Eastleigh!

Actually more than "for a fee"! He's Eastleigh's record signing at £60000. Must be some kind of falling out between player and manager!

And Pompey have just loaned a CM to Eastleigh. Going the other way?

Portsmouth also just released a defender. I can't see N'gala coming here tbh.

Barnet have released a few journeymen , Tom Champion, Ben Tomlinson, Shaun Batt and Mauro Vilhete ,who are available on free transfers. Wonder if there is any mileage in looking at them. Some had been loaned out previously to Conference clubs.

Hmm see Batt has been out with an nasty injury.

Should look before posting - it appears Tomlinson has a ruptured hamstring which looks set to end his season

What about - Centre forward Josh O’Hanlon released by Newport. Only 21 - 6ft plus was brought over from Ireland by Bournemouth in 2014 for £50,000 fee then loaned out to non-league clubs and finally released season end 2016. Got a short term contract with Newport but funds are tight there so he has been released. Has potential and still has time on his side to prove himself and may be at price point we can afford.

Think they've signed Mark Ellis on loan.

And have we signed anybody to replace Racine or maybe a new centre forward?
