LRT returns - confirmed

Post by Richinns »

Seems he is coming in to replace Butler so answers the Mcginty question!

Nuneaton fans seemed to really rate him (yes I knw this was at a lower level and he was ironically playing as centre back for them!) but a better sign than them not rating him!

I'm fine by this. Maybe not the most talented player but a physically imperious player. The real question is what the configuration of McGinty and LRT is. McGinty LB and LRT CB seems to be what other fans our telling us.

Judging by Nicho comments then it is the other way round. Good both can cover either position though.

Really pleased to see him back, an excellent addition to an already decent squad.

My dad was obsessed with Rowe-Turner's innate ability to come off the bench and keep the ball in the corner of the far end of the pitch at the very end of games. I'm pretty sure he played centre back against us in that 2-4 Alfreton debacle a couple of season ago and was impressive that day. I'm pleased.

Thank heavens we are making these signings before the Brexit effect kicks in. Very astute of Nicho.

I'm off to apply for citizenship in Syria.
