SEPP BLATTER RESIGNS

Post by Glostergull »

Sepp Blatter Has resigned in the last few minutes
About time. how he could hang on for so long with so many accusations aimed at Fifa and himself is way beyond me. I know the third world supported him but that was probably at the expence if bribes in my opinion. Good bye and good riddance to the self deluded.

It seems fairly likely that the DoJ has found evidence to suggest Blatter is not as clean as he's made himself out to be. Not a big shock, honestly. I actually think that a lot of the indictments so far are overreaching, (the laws the Feds and the Department of Justice are using allow a lot of latitude) but ultimately it'll probably serve to shine a light into the inner workings, and then local law enforcement can take steps if they want to.

Although Russia saying that it's geopolitical interference by the Americans is total rubbish.
