Bristol City v Walsall

Post by Gullscorer »

Good luck to Walsall who will be the underdogs in their first ever visit to Wembley against Bristol City in the JPT Final on Sunday.

I heard their manager Dean Smith interviewed on Talk Sport today. He was with Martin Ling at Leyton Orient and had good words to say about him. Says Martin has recovered and moved on from his period of depression at Plainmoor and is doing well. So it's unlikely we'll see him back here, though if he were to be manager here again, we would certainly see a new rejuvenated Ling with much better prospects in store.

However, the same might just apply (more in hope than expectation right now) to Chris Hargreaves next season, and as others have said, there's no going back in football (or at least it's extremely rare).

Had a great day out City played really well and you could see why they are top of their league.
