Whether you love or loathe the President, his positive UK/USA outlook can only be a good thing and we should capitalise on a pro-UK President.

Like when Bush dragged us into a war that rebounded with the current UK dilemma with terror?

You're right...Mr "Back of the queue" Obama was much better!!

A free trade deal and strengthening the special relationship can only be a good thing.

Trump is pro America first, with a tendency to economic protectionism. At present Britain enjoys a trade surplus with the states. That would not last under any trade deal negotiated by Trump.
