Port Vale administration?

Post by Jeff »

Not sure whether this is the best place to put this, but here goes............

As everyone knows, Portsmouth have started the season still in administration. This contravenes the FL regulations, and as such will be deducted 10points once they are out of administration.

Our L2 rivals Port Vale have had their recently proposed take-over fall through, and it was mentioned on the FLS highlights last night that they are still in administration. Surely this is the same as the Portsmouth situation, so will they also be deducted 10 points as and when their takeover finally happens?

Clutching at straws already to see if some of our L2 rivals can lose some points!

Both Pork Dale and Pompous will cite Argyle as a case in fact.

(started a season in administration while being deducted 10pts in the previous)

Hung twice for the same offence springs to mind.

Teams in the League should be grateful, in the BSP the hard noses shaft you good and proper.

Vale are miles from being our rivals, but I take your point. Administration seems to mean absolutely nothing. If the Portsmouth/Plymouth situations are anything to go by, it's an excuse for some blokes in suits to do some bull shit posturing.
