Nah, you can get away with saying pretty much anything if you use an English accent.

THey do get annoyed when I dress up in a redcoat and indulge in a spot of light house burning though.

Perhaps its fate that today is the 4th of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from annihilation.
We're fighting for our right to live, to exist.
And should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice:
We will not go quietly into the night!
We will not vanish without a fight!
We're going to live on!
We're going to survive!
Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!

Seeing as the American's have made a total arse of their country and the world and as such can't be trusted anymore maybe it's time for us to step in again for Round 2?

The Redcoats were once a feared dominating army, now they are a bunch of whoopsies working at Butlins. This country.

To be fair, even though the Americans have murdered quite a lot of a fairly innocent words by removing the letter 'u', they do know where to put apostrophes most of the time :)

I see their habit of starting a sentence without using a capital letter is catching though ;-)
