Name the club by the player..

Post by Plymouth Gull »

A little game (sort of) I thought might be a bit of fun. Basically somebody says a player name, then the first person to get the correct club from that player gets to say one. No scoring or anything really, but try to keep it fairly realistic! You can give clues if people are struggling, but don't give too many (e.g. you could say the league they play in/country they're from etc).

It'll be more fun if people dont use the internet, unless someone has said player X plays for team Y but infact he plays for team Z, then you can prove them wrong or whatever, but ultimately it's just a bit of fun.

So I'll start with... Padraig Amond.

I wondered if his name would ever appear somewhere. I skipped through the teams as we came back for the new season and he stood out as an odd one. An Irishman who played in Portugal or is supposed to. Any way he has been lent to Stanley at the Estadio del Crown Dump. The Jewel of the North. well it would be if not dug among the Spuds.

na na na na na I know this one cos my mate (Nick No Mates) is a Walsall fan. They signed him at the beginning of this season. But my Mate says he ain't no better than the other no hopers and he still thinks they are going down this season.

He was signed by Walsall at the beginning of the season (July 2011). You had me going for a minute. I thought he had been loaned out to Luton. On Checking with Nick he said they got him from Luton in the Summer.

Is he Walsall as well? Signed him on Football Manager from them anyway!

I'll be interested to see what people say for this one...
