A lot of good an academy will do in the NLS.

Do you still consider them a rival?? I don't. We aren't even in their stratosphere anymore. Fair play to them I say

That's because as a club they've embraced a positive winning mentality that pervades throughout the club, even if they lose matches. The players believe in the club and have a confidence and mentality on the pitch that means they can do such things. It's the polar opposite of TQU the past few years (Hargreaves/Nicholson/Owers) where the players seem to turn up for their pay packet only, have little to no mental strength when things go against them and don't seem to care when they lose. The last 15 games of Nicho's two seasons were the exception but the players reverted back to type very quickly (or the more vocal/important ones left) - it's a rot present throughout the club thus why it keeps re-appearing.

It's in no way an academy; that's a bloody insult to the concept. It's an after school club where some squads can't even have a proper training session because players decide not to turn up when they feel like it. The other day some were playing Bubble Football whilst just 4 or 5 turned up for the scheduled session...an utter; utter disgrace!

Maybe I’m just being stupid and thinking we will go straight back up?

This is where Osbourne becomes our number 1 keeper?

If we stay full time we may be right back up.....

I’m being stupid and deluded I know...

HARROP is the problem here. Spent just over 4 weeks looking for a manager and then spent 30k on buying out a mediocre manager from the league below. We were poor before and yet 6 months later we are no better off. Owers is completely out of his depth and yet continues to be supported by the owners. Sack Owers, sack Harrop and start again.

But that won't happen will it Mr Osborne, they're doing exactly what you want them to do. You're a greedy and deceitful excuse of a man. F*ck off back to Swindon and take your useless bumbling mate with you.
