Brilliant news, I'm suddenly excited to go back to plainmoor

Williams and Romain up front. Watch the goals come flooding in now! :scarf:

Absolutely. Owers knows him from Aldershot, so will know tracking back isn’t his forte. Was mismanaged by Nico. Pleased to see him back ‘initially until the end of the season’. Am assuming wording means he has an opt out if/when we go down. Think he’d get a few in Conference South for us. Good luck, Brett. And welcome back.

It's too late, no chance of us surviving now, unless the Chester/Hartlepool situations go a certain way and I wouldn't wish that upon those teams.

Well in some ways I am surprised but in another way I am not.
I still think it was 2 beautiful goals at Dover that saved us last season so now Brett has the chance to be a SUPER HERO.
Prior to last Saturdays game I saw him talking to Jamie Reid and I think Brett is the type of player who knows he will be welcomed back with open arms.
As ever time will tell but in football sometimes one signing can make all the difference.
It is all about mentality in our position. The players have got to believe and a couple of wins could see a complete change BUT I know many will say "wishful thinking"

Most people were slagging him off to high heaven last season.

Not true! Those of us in the Family Stand were instrumental in 'encouraging' the then manager to bring him on as a sub which eventually led to him starting - and scoring - in those crucial closing matches last season.
We were Brett's fan club cheer leaders!

From what I remember most people were slagging off Nicho for refusing to use him based upon a ridiculous notion that Williams doesn't track back. Well duh, he came with that reputation when you signed him. If you wanted a striker that did more than score goals you don't sign Williams.

Desperate. Now 30 and not a fitness fanatic. But you never know. Actually knew where the goal was.

Some good news at last.
That game at Dover was one of the most enjoyable for a long time - alongside Bromley the season before.
