He did alright Taylor when he was here so good to have him back. I agree though. He's either being pestered to go to the jobclub by the DSS or he's disturbed. There can be no other valid explanations.

Taylor when put in the limelight as acting manager was equivalent to rabbits in headlights. But hats off to the guy, he is being paid a job by the club. How many Conf south clubs have our infrastructure. Congratulations Osborne.

Very intresting seeing shaun Taylor being back at Torquay. I reckon in the next few days, Gary Owers will be sacked and Taylor will be appointed caretaker manager until the end of the season. Don't forget that he was assistant to Martin Ling and then acting manager when Mr Ling became ill. I believe torquay were in the top ten in the league when Mr Ling fell ill.

It's also very interesting you don't read previous threads. Check the thread from Thursday

Oh I haven' forgotten ~ believe me his match management was attrocious; could hardly put two inteligble words together and if he were to become caretaker again I fail to see what that would achieve.

He would be fine if we mid table and nothing to play for.

Dear me honestly whatever next , i respect your views but have we really become so desperate. Actually yes we have

Shaun Taylor as caretaker maybe, but not as manager. Last time he had a go it was hopeless.

Lucy6Lucy, no I don't read every single post. There are many thousands of posts on this forum. Merse, I did not say that I am personally in favour of Shaun Taylor becoming caretaker manager if Mr Owers get's sacked. Indeed I believe that Torquay went into freefall when Martin Ling fell ill. I was just trying to make the point that during the clubs current plight, when we should be going all out to spend money on trying to get better quality players at the club, we go and sign someone to help with the academy, which, if successful, would be of no benefit to the club for several years.
