The squad as it stands.....

Post by Richinns »

Now this is just off the top of my head (and please correct any errors) but I have it as:

Dorel (Short term contract end date is? Will he get a better offer?)
Clarke
Efete (Loan up and no news of an extension)
Davey (Loan up and no news of an extension)
McGinty (Rumours of a move away from the club)
Andresson (Loan runs out shortly but currently available?)
Anderson - (Due to return but no confirmation yet. Praise the lord!)
Gowling (Still injured but no news for how long!)
Barnum Bobb (Rumoured to have returned to Newport)
Davis
Higgins (Absent for personal reasons - will he return?)
Dowling (Another month confirmed)
Young
Lathrope
Kulklowski (Long term injured I believe - nothing from the club about this?)
Myrie-Williams (Short term contract end date is? - will he (what is the point!) be retained?!)
Gosling
Reid
Keating

With Chaney and Osbourne out on loan.

It is now almost midday Wednesday and we have a game Saturday! Imagine the professional preparations on the training ground for approaching that!

Make no mistake - this club is an almighty clusterfuck and Conference South bound.

Well done was thinking this morning about the squad.

Well we can buy a shirt with a poppy on it.
Perhaps the next shirt will have a black armband mourning the death of the club.

When I look at that list of names it just drives home the reality of the mess we are in. I just can't see how the hell we are going to get out of this mess.

Be funny if not so true.

Wonder if there would be a auction like Newport county had in 1989

I have just called the club to confirm there is a team to support on Saturday and was informed there would be.

I asked about 'loan players', stating if they return we may not have enough. To this apparently the web site is very up to-date and I will see it there first (now that would be a first!). The only play to have currently returned is Barnum Bobb, so I highlighted this had been missed off the web site.

Our club is dead, does anyone is any position there care?

Did Klukowski extend his loan with Kidderminster? It was originally for one month until 16.12

Is he any good?

I’m guessing that when the club suggests that some departures and arrivals are imminent in the New year we should assume one or two things .
Firstly that “imminent “ will involve an agonising 4 week wait with no news and disappointment on the end of it.
The second is that we should clarify in which new year . This one or next !!!!
