[/highlight]You're right, we'll only be able to recruit players from levels below ours BUT you also know as well as I do that a lot of these type of players are already earning more from a job outside of football supplemented by their football earnings. No way will any credible player settle for the few hundred a week we've been offering.
 absolute gold that David.

According to the date of that posting he was a 'Nicholson man'
Bit of a conflict of interest with the same chronology of employment by Eastleigh AND Torquay United isn't there?

Is anyone able to provide and accurate and up to date squad list by position? I’ve lost track with the revolving doors that have been built at Plainmoor this season!

Surprisingly, nothing about us under his 'Key Achievements'
I thought our Head of Recruitment was Dave Hedges :-/

Is Myrie Williams still here ? If so seems it was quite a long short term contract, what a waste of money
Apparently we have 24 players, still about 4 or 5 too many, I suppose some are permanent sick notes
though the biggest seems to be Pittman. A lot of work for Owers in the summer and he has to get it right
from the off, we will see how good he and Kuhl are then, no excuses

Had to laugh at some of the posts on this thread. So we don't know if the manager has a contract or not, same for the assistant.

AND if you go by the last couple of posts we don't even know what the squad is.

You just cant make that up can you :)

Mitchell wasn't on loan as Chesterfield released him.

Now, you would think that a quick look at the website would tell us all we need to know but you have to wonder when you see that Damon Lathrope is still included in the squad. And I know this is a bit off topic but does anybody know how to find out from the website, information such as player appearances, goals scored etc because I can't. I can find out how to win a Dacia car though because that's on the front page so it must be important!!

Thanks for that Craig - yes that is a great site and very informative. But surely any website for a professional football club should have easily accessible basic information about the players. I guess the key lies in the word professional, which on so many occasions we seem to prove we are not.
