I don't blame him after that farce at Boreham Wood.
He spent the whole of the first half keeping warm and ready to come on at a moment's notice and then saw that brainless donkey Keating replaced by no-mark Pittman.
He obviously sussed he was wasting his time being in another country on a short term contract with utter dross being given priority over him. The manager needs to realise how he was thinking before complaining his departure was 'pre-medicated'.
Deny any player pitch time and you are playing games with his 'loyalty' and attitude towards you!

If only he had 'scored' what would have been an unlikely winner in the dying moments against Gateshead. All might have been very different. Strikers need goals to thrive on. And managers need to see them scored.
Methinks another case of Owers' lack of man-mangement. To be brought on just 10 minutes from the end when the team was obviously struggling to score is an insult. He was never given a fair chance.
He showed better touches and passing in 30 minutes against Gateshead than Keating has for the past 2 months.
