If it does turn out to be Owers then I suspect there is a link somewhere with Harrop. Adie Britton has been involved to some degree at Plainmoor - not sure if he is still with Bath but such an appointment would strike me as just as cosy as those Harrop was slating. We wait for four weeks and we end up with Bath City's manager?

Is he related to osbourne? Harrop? does he want to retire in Torquay in a new build house close to babbacombe. The five year plan is well and truly on. The only interview question by harrop being don't **** things up by getting it right and keeping us in this league

I'm sure someone had some inside information and said that the manager would be worth the wait...

Someone has to have got it wrong!

What happened to all the other applicants with a proven track record in the EFL or the National league. Is this a cheap option ?
I suppose Herrera will be his number 2 as well. we are doomed .

A truly inspirational appointment, taking 4 weeks and many defeats to complete. I take my hat off to the management team for displaying tremendous foresight. A proven manager for the level we are due to sink into.

And there was me thinking they were a bunch of muppets, shame on me! :-(

Whilst the circumstances behind the appointment are woeful; particularly with regards to the time that has been taken, the smokescreen coming out of the club and the lack of communication, it would seem that all signs are pointing towards Gary Owers being appointed.

He may not have the track record we want but I really hope that he has the ambition and ability within him to turn this situation around.

I'm sure we will find out today if Gary is taking helm and whilst I may not agree with the appointment in light of the experienced names that have been banded around, I've already vented my frustration and disappointment at the whole situation so I'll be getting behind Gary, or whoever takes charge and look forward to seeing some positive results in the near future.

COME ON YOU YELLOWS...

I MEAN SERIOUSLY...

COME ON!!

Complete and utter joke. I've supported this club through thick and thin for nigh-on 50 years... but this is just taking the piss big time. I never thought we could ever sink so low as where we are now. Thankfully, Mr Owers has experience of National League South.... because that is where we are heading right now.

Can the last person out of Plainmoor please turn off the lights.
