Have we really got to wait this long

Post by Glostergull »

I was looking for travel distance for Utd this coming season when I stumbled on this page. I haven't a clue where this comes from or who wrote it. are they Torquay fans? does anyone know or have they seen this. I'm only sorry I am unlikely to be around in 2044 as I would be 86 then and probably not fit to go anyway. assuming Utd are still in existence. I would hate to think we take until then to get into the league.

sorry, plaimoor. I'm sure I put the link in but for some reason, it didn't copy. I maybe mad but at least I'm not sad like Brucie.

I've read his posts before. He holidays an FM15 game to around 2040 where all the players are regenerated players and picks a random club to challenge himself.

Very unlikely that he'll be a Torquay fan, but FM can often develop a fondness for a club.

I've followed Udinese for nearly 10 years after a cracking file with them on FM07.

Partially true. I actually played through the years up until 2039 when I joined Torquay. They were in the Conference South when I joined and have since risen up to League One (if anyone is interested in reading more about my fictional time with Torquay feel free: https://vivalavidafm.com/vivatorquay/ )

I visited Torquay on holiday when I was younger and although I don't follow their results I am interested in where they finish each season. I'd say I have that fondness for Torquay without being an actual fan. I chose to manage Torquay because of this.
