I reckon GI could squeeze a lot more time out of this for little comeback as many are just so fed up of waiting that they are apathetic now which is totally understandable.

If another month went by then it could quite easily do so without any announcements at all and GI wouldn't get too much extra flak.

The situation is truly bizarre. Not even confirmation that an appointment has been made in principle or anything.
Not in Torquay they're not. The whole thing is like a pressure pot building up. People getting more and more angry.

Twitter is getting angrier too and arguments breaking out on the forums is also a sign. If the appointment is not to the liking of the fans it could turn really nasty.

Crystal Palace sacks manager but hey they were ready with another next day. Torquay United they want to be professional and get it right so they take 4 weeks!

I think the General manager should look for a job as he's not doing his job properly. If what we all think happens tonight the management of Torquay United have put the club in a really bad place. :)

Nepotism. I think his wife is related to the owner in some way.

This guy did cross my mind when looking at teams with managers and I thought, surely not.

This would put me in the underwhelmed camp

It would say all we need to know about the boards aspirations. No way can Harrop justify a month of casting his net to pull out this tiddler of an appointment.

No managerial experience in this league or above, a few assistant manager jobs and currently mid table with Bath City doesn't excite.

no offence to the guy, but we've waited four weeks for this?
f**king shocking.
as I said at the beginning of this endless search, it would fully reveal GI's intentions for our club and it has.
so much for the "proven league experience" unless of course it includes the national south where he's had experience...

an absolute f**king joke.
