Many Congratulations to our Groundsman Chris Ralph on winning the award for Best National League Pitch 2016/17.

If you get to read this Chris the new pitch looks fantastic and is testament to all your hard work during the summer which makes you a strong candidate for 2017/18!!

Great looking pitch, perhaps too good for our beleaguered squad.
Shouldn't we try and lengthen the grass in order to stop the opposition passing through us? ;-)

I certainly would second those congratulations. The pitch is superb. It's condition was excellent as well at the end of last season and assisted the team to outplay the opposition in the last vital two home games. Well done Chris.

I did congratulate him at the end of last season.
He's the only success story at Plainmoor for several years; well done!

Agreed, he's done a great job, pitch was looking like a carpet last night.

Especially impressive as Aldershot and Boreham Wood have the help of Chelsea and Arsenal respectively with their pitches.

Well done Chris :-D

Congratulations Chris. I haven't seen your handiwork personally, but I look forward to seeing a well kept surface when I visit Torquay this February.

Yes, well done Chris - I know how hard you and your team work on it so this award is well-merited.
