MacDonald to Norwich?

Post by DB1007 »

Norwich have reportedly made an offer of £1.5 million for Angus MacDonald. Anyone know how much truth there is in this and how much we would make out of the deal due to sell on fees?

If Angus goes for £1.500.000 and we get 15% or is it
G.I. get that money which could be £152.500

Looks more likely as Barnsley have signed Gethin Jones on loan from Everton.

If the upfront fee was large which i understand it was then i doubt the sell on fee will amount to much. if it was then i wonder how much will be allowed to be spent on the playing squad.

He is a right back, so more likely to be a replacement for James Bree, who is also linked with a move away from Barnsley.

He can play anywhere in the back four and midfield Chris

Also, it may not happen anyway as Burnley have been linked today with a bid for Marc Roberts- Gus’s fellow CB....

if this is true then it would be perfect, however knowing torquay united as we do, then we've probably already ballsed things up by inserting a clause within a clause, that negates the sell on clause until barnsley are back in the big time and gus has 56 caps for namibia!
still keeping the faith

I recommended him to Bristol City two years ago Tinnion watched a few games but could not have seen the potential.

If it happens and our 15% comes our way GI will think it's their lucky pay day ....as the team they own slips into National South.
