I know that Julien Parrott is a committed Torquay fan so at least there should be someone on the committee willing to listen to someone other than GI.

Steve Parrock, Kevin Mowatt and Fran Hughes are from Torbay Development Agency. I have been dealing with them for 3 years on another project (sports ground) which has not moved forward at all despite promises.

This is very worrying

I wouldn't put all my eggs into one basket. we have seen stranger things happen in the past. i wouldn't put it past them to pass a motion to sell our home

Did not take long did it! Shows the priority of their plans and how immediate their agenda is. If the alarm bells were not ringing before then surely they are deafening now. Those that have their heads buried in the sand will need to dig a lot deeper to not hear them!

It's time to make a noise. Let's show them we’re Keyboard Warriors not wankers.

I have written to and received informed and supportive replies from my two councillors (one of whom is Adrian Sanders) and Kevin Foster MP.

I have not had a reply from Gordon Oliver the Mayor! I’m wondering why.

As individual supporters we have no power but collectively we can generate a voice, especially if we can enlist the help of those people we have elected to represent us. However, they will not fight for us if we do not stand behind them.

Email your councillors, the Mayor and Kevin Foster MP (or whoever your MP is if you do not live in the Bay). If we can create enough noise to get on and in the local media the protest will gain momentum.

It could be that the meeting is about safeguarding Plainmoor and that GI are going to build an all singing, all dancing, fandango stadium before the Council evict the Club from Plainmoor. But I don't trust either of them and I'm not going to hold my breath while waiting for the two of them to do the decent thing.

Nice of GI to mention the five year plan. Just a suggestion - by year 3 could someone please consult the fans whose gate receipts are rather crucial - should we have a ground to go to.

This subject is THE most important one right now as once we start this journey there will be no going back.

I urge every local possible to get involved in this to stop GI in their tracks.

....and Bill Phillips wonders why we are so annoyed at him and the Board for selling the club to this bunch of **** bastards.

Just to make it clear, I think that GI are a bunch of Charlie Uniform November Tangoes and the previous Board are too.

Right, that's me done. I'm off to masturbate over my keyboard again.

I too received - what appeared to be - supportive communication from Kevin Foster. He doesn't have any say over the decision but hopefully, he holds some sway. Certainly worth emailing for those that haven't.
