MOTM - Wrexham

Post by Gulliball »

A bit early as I have to be at Murrayfield for 5pm. Fingers crossed for the rest of the game.

If you were one of the 1400 odd Gulls there today then up to five players please.

K Moore - went and went for the whole 90 minutes
McGinty - one goal saving intervention in the second half and solid
Richards - whole hearted
LRT - gets a lot of stick sometimes but kept going forward at every opportunity

Kieffer Moore - gave the side a badly needed lift
Brendan Moore - safe hands, good decisions and better distribution
Sean McGinty - I've not been over impressed with him up to now, but thought he had a good game today - he's abandoned hoofball !
Aman Verma - good to have him back in the side
Luke Young - battled hard for the whole match

1. K Moore - scored all important goal, won headers, physical and hungry
2. Young - great deliveries from corners that set up goal and work rate
3. Sparkes - we have missed his quality especially when used on left wing
4. B. Moore - important saves when we could not clear our lines and decisive from crosses normally opting to punch
5. McGimty - some important tackles in the box, good hunger and his distribution was better. Did not just hoof it.

Keiffer Moore. Great debut. Reminded me of Tim Sills. Luke Young. A dynamic performance from midfield.Always ultra competitive. McGinty Solid at the back but in my view is better with Gerring alongside. Snoop much maligned by many but had a much better game today and does not deserve the stick dished out by many seemingly automatically with no justification! Nico for good substitutions at the right time.

Kieffer Moore. A very impressive debut.
Brendan Moore. Excellent game.
Sean McGinty. Showed he cared and much less hoof ball. More composed with distribution.
Luke Young. Another committed performance.
Dan Sparkes.Well played Dan on your return.
