Solihull Moors 22/11/2016 & Standing Up

Post by Fred Perry »

Coming down for a couple of nights.

Many Brummies live around Torquay.

Really pleased Torquay United have PRESERVED their Terracing , at away end.

By all accounts, most League Clubs ( including Premiership ) looking to introduce German style safe terracing.

About BLOODY time , to bring atmosphere back & better entry prices !!!...

Anyone know of any decent Restaurants near Ground or in Torquay itself, to go at night ?

Hi Mr Perry,
Not being a Torquay rezzie, I can't give too much insight into restaurants near the ground - no doubt some forum members will be able to help. I was in Torquay this week though and had a great meal at The Visto Lounge which was on the seafront near the Princess Theatre. Loads of places to eat and drink in the town centre, ranging from cocktail bars to usual Spoons pubs. From a girly viewpoint, shops aren't quite BullRing standard
I hope you have a smashing trip down (bar the result, obvs) and enjoy the atmosphere on the terracing...

For you land-locked folk, it's got to be Hanbury's fish & chips on the main drag in Babbacombe. Easy parking, near the ground.

Fred Perry here:

Will be wearing my Lambretta Parka & Brown Leather Desert Boots - yes I love the 60s look.

Solihull Moors fans know where to drink & perhaps dance before the Match.

We may do the " Conga " on the terraces.

" Solihull Moors FC , by the NEC "

This match could well be a six pointer, so to speak.

Hope the Brummies living around Torbay join up with the Moors supporters, even if you are Birmingham or Villa !!!...

Some decent Pubs around Babbacombe.
